Current efforts to deliver information intelligently to the desktop are typically ineffective in providing ease of information access while meeting both the business purpose and the end user's expectations.

1. No Unified View. Information is scattered and business users must search in multiple places to locate all the information they require to make business decisions.
2. Lack of Information Transparency. Business users are not shielded from the disruptions caused by content migrations therefore they must be informed and involved with all plans to move information throughout the enterprise.
